Digital Revolution: Data protection, Smart Products, Blockchain Tecnology and Bitcoins

La Scuola Superiore dell'Avvocatura ha organizzato il Corso insieme a European Law Institute, Organismo Congressuale Forense, Unione Triveneta dei Consigli dell'Ordine degli Avvocati, Laboratorio INDICO.

All'evento prenderanno parte i Consiglieri Prof. Avv. Salvatore Sica, Vice Presidente della Scuola Superiore dell'Avvocatura e l'Avv. Andrea Pasqualin.

PRESENTAZIONE

Technological developments are having an increasingly significant impact on individuals and enterprises: New business opportunities and smart technologies are widely changing the equilibrium of the established paradigms that form the basis of many legal rules.
This interdisciplinary conference brings together leading experts from Europe and beyond, addressing the impact of digital technology on the law in light of the latest legislative developments.
The focus will be set on:
• The role of personal and non-personal data; The protection of users’ and businesses’ rights in contracts for the supply of digital contents;
• The increasing interplay between data trade and data protection in light of the latest legislative developments, as e.g. the General Data Protection Regulation, which applies as of 25 May 2018;
• The challenges of the Internet of Things, with a specific focus on domotics, smart mobility and self-driving vehicles;
• The issues of smart contracts, blockchain technology, Bitcoins and other virtual currencies.
